China has rejected over 600 tons of GMO corn from the USA getting corn instead from the Ukraine. Ummmm, wonder where all that GMO corn will be Going?
Did you know that corn
is not supposed to be eaten by humans? GMO or not the human stomach
cannot break corn down or get nutritional values from its properties.
The BloombergBusinessWeek reports that China rejected their first shipment of Genetically Modified corn from the USA.
The Grocery Manufacturers Association has previously revealed that PepsiCo, Nestle USA and Coca-Cola each gave hidden donations of more than $1 million to the campaign against a Washington State initiative that would require the labeling of genetically engineered food.
The Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) has donated $7.2 million to the
campaign opposing I-522. All told the opposition campaign has raised nearly $17.2 million, with almost all of the rest of the money coming from biotech companies that work with genetically modified organisms, or GMOs.
The single largest donor to the 'Yes' campaign is Dr. Bronner's Magic
Soaps. The California natural products company gave $1.7 million to the
Yes campaign.
