I
have found this to be true. If a teacher is going to teach a Truth; to
break down the walls of tradition or dispel errors, the Truth must be
consistent and in conjunction to one's way of life. The same principles should be applied to business ventures in Afrika. Truth, therefore,
will be accepted and a successful transition inevitable as one sees a brighter
better way with increased confidence and self-worth. It is a ‘win-win’ situation!
This
video attests to Bishop Baxter’s words and my belief that in order to be
effective to promote change, one must not force or coercer one into being
as they are or to believe as they do.
Instead, they must be presented with that of which is real, honest, integrity and ethical!
In
my opinion, this has been the consensus with foreigners into Afrika. They force themselves in under the auspices of so-called aid or
missions. These have manipulated their way into Afrika and are intentionally
destroying the Afrikan Way of life expecting Afrikans to be happy about it. They expect that Afrikans should
comply as if they are still under cruel disparaging control of Colonialism, Apartheid
and slavery.
Unlike
other foreigners coming into Afrika with a mindset to 'free the heathen' ; take
advantage of their lack of knowledge as to the Western 'dog-eat-dog' business
philosophies and practices; forcing erroneous religious
practices designed to Europeanize the Afrikan by bring them to their own
way of understanding; Dr. Leela Hazzah and her team of experts did just the
opposite to accomplish much!
Dr.
Leela Hazzah is the Founder & Executive Director of Lion Guardians. A
graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison who seems to enjoy a 'low
profile'. However, Doctor Leela Hazzah's great
accomplishments with Lions Guardians, you
certainly deserve not only to be acknowledged for your work in Kenya. However, others
need to model themselves after and practice your ethics, integrity and sincere empathy in making this
world a better place; contributing to the environment at an non-evasive international
level!
